Dictionary Definitions
- n., 1. An attestation made by an officer certifying that a record is in proper form and that the officer is the proper person to so certify. 2. A municipal corporation’s signing and sealing of a by-law. [The Dictionary of Canadian Law, 3rd ed. c2004]
